I can answer this question in one short sentence: Because no one: no hospital, no doctor, no consultant, no therapist was able to save my life.
5 years ago, I was hospitalised in a serious condition with swelling of the brain.
This caused a series of complaints:
- crippling headaches in the following areas: frontal, temporal
- numbness in the ear
- dizziness
- double vision
- nystagmus
- speech disorder
- decreased muscle tone on one side of the face
- drooping of the left eyelid
- drooping of the right corner of the mouth
- imbalance
- total lack of motor coordination
- total lack of exercise tolerance
- tachycardia
- left abdominal tenderness
- right subcostal tenderness
- intercostal paresthesia
- inability to move independently
After 0.5 years in hospital, 3 months on steroids and 8 months on antibiotics. Several medical errors led to loss of sensation in my left leg, deep vein thrombosis, a 48-hour nosebleed, internal bleeding in my stomach, blood transfusions... I was discharged home, where the real struggle began for every step and every day. I found it difficult even to lift myself up on my own elbow in bed. I began a long and arduous journey from learning to stand at attention, to walk, to climb stairs, to hit my mouth with a spoon, to trot, run, cycle and ride.
Every new day, every new breath has been a real challenge. But nothing motivates you more than children and patients waiting for you to come back when something hurts. After almost a year of struggle, it seemed that I was getting there. I stopped running from wall to wall and entered my first running competition....
and that's when my new world came crashing down again. There was:
- severe dizziness better than a roundabout
- pain at the base of my nose
- migraine headaches, especially in the temporal area
- daily nosebleeds 4-5 times a day
- nausea
- severe photophobia
- double vision on exertion has returned
- flashes in the field of vision with loss of consciousness Suspected retinal detachment, fortunately not confirmed
- episodes of double vision. Extreme right double vision, reduced visual field
- visual disturbances of the blurred image type, after a while it comes together
- numbness in the left side of the head, ear and face for up to several weeks
- sudden severe headache after a stroke, like an electrical discharge: doctor diagnosed it as TIA.
- feelings of rods being driven into my head: doctor diagnosed microstrokes
- the right corner of my mouth was drooping
- intradural osteophytes at the edges of vertebral bodies C5 and C6. C5 osteophyte 5mm in size according to MRI image, pressing on the meningeal sac
- painful, spreading tingling in the cerebral region under the influence of head movements
- constant biting of tongue and cheeks
- acute sinusitis lasting several months
- could not tell where my left leg was in space
- excruciating pain in my left shoulder
- severe shooting pains in my liver that prevented me from breathing
- pain under my left chest
- excruciating pain in the right side of my body from the third lumbar vertebra through the sacroiliac joint to the calf and foot
- trembling of the limbs, even when lying down
- 6 times I twisted my left ankle with tarsal pain, 2 times I twisted my right ankle.
- my ankles twisted and swelled all the time
- I kept stumbling
- poor balance
- impaired judgement of distance
- tingling and numbness in my right hand from forearm to palm
- numbness in my right foot
- stabbing pain in my left breastbone difficulty breathing
- periodic stabbing pains in my heart
- great difficulty concentrating
- extreme sleepiness, turning into a permanent state of hibernation
- massively slowed reactions
- impaired speech articulation
- shortness of breath
- suicidal thoughts
- visual hallucinations (and I'm not kidding, I had to leave the shop without buying anything because the shelves seemed to blur and collapse on me)
After several stays in hospital, many scientific medical consultations, 7 MRI scans of the head and one of the neck, all kinds of laboratory tests and even punctures and examinations of the cerebrospinal fluid, the head doctor announced to me in the corridor amidst the fumes of disinfectants, and I quote: "We have no more treatment options, we have no more ideas. Either the body takes care of itself or...".
I did not want to wait for the latter "or else" and decided to live fully before the end, which I prayed for more than to remain a "vegetable". I ran a couple of half-marathons and that's when I started to feel the stabbing pain in my right buttock, which was getting worse by the day. So much so that I could not sit on a chair for 5 minutes. I have been a therapist, a Japanese chiropractor, for over 12 years, so I turned to all the best therapists, known and unknown, to help me get back to running before the final judgement came upon me and another stroke took my life.
Fortunately for me, I met Piotr Zborowski - the author of the Quantum Chiropractic Method - at one of the therapist training courses. He offered to come to my surgery and treat my leg, which at the time was very painful, even at rest. After an initial analysis using his method, he accurately assessed the cause of my pain and outlined a recovery plan. This convinced me to run 1,600km.
Within a weekend, my leg pain was reduced to almost nothing. Previously, no physiotherapist, therapist or doctor I had consulted within a 100km radius had even been able to diagnose the problem. Looking back, I can confidently say that if you had to travel to the other side of the world to use Quantum's chiropractic method, it would be worth it without hesitation... and as it turned out, I didn't even have to get out of bed to undergo this therapy! For me, this was the greatest benefit of this patient-therapist collaboration. Especially because the litany of my complaints turned out to be very long and the therapy had to be carried out regularly and quite intensively. I have to admit that Piotr Zborowski did not even know about most of them until the day this story was published; however, after his Quantum Chiropractic Therapy they have long since disappeared and I have not suffered for more than two years. "Strongly motivated" by the decaying hands of doctors, deceived by the helplessness of successive prescribers and professors towards my ailments, I overlooked most of the symptoms during the interview for the causal analysis of Quantum Chiropractic. I was stuck in the mistaken belief that no one and nothing could help me and bring me back to a normal life.
In spite of my therapeutic knowledge and broad perspective of consciousness, I treated this therapy as a mere scientific experiment and had little hope for a better life... until the first treatment, which took place 1,600 km away and after which my entire muscular corset felt as if it had received a deep treatment from a top physiotherapist. This was only the beginning of sensational, concrete changes in my health. Finally, someone was showing me, one by one, the causes of my ailments and the way to solve my problems.
It was also the beginning of a fascinating journey through hidden truths about the human body, its capabilities, its weaknesses and its structure. An amazing lesson in life, which, using my own body and its physical sensations as an example, led me to learn this method.
