.Chiropractic is the science, art and philosophy of the relationship between the structures of the musculoskeletal system, primarily the pelvis, spine and skull, and the function of the human endocrine and nervous systems, as this relationship can have a significant impact on health. Spinal pain, headaches, paresthesias (numbness and tingling in the upper and lower limbs) experienced by patients, and other health problems can be caused by structural changes in the spine. Chiropractic analyses the disease process and eliminates functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system and internal organs, i.e. conditions in which, despite the absence of pathology in objective medical examinations, complaints persist that force the patient to take chronic medication.
If this is the case for you, a chiropractor is the most appropriate person to seek help from.
Just as regular visits to the dentist prevent unnecessary degeneration of our teeth, chiropractic care prevents degeneration of the spine and contributes to optimal health and full mobility.
and full freedom of movement. It goes without saying that everyone wants to feel good and be able to do what they want. Therefore, initial chiropractic care, if indicated, must be intensive. Once good health is achieved, subsequent regular visits to the chiropractor will help to maintain good health. In addition, these visits will eliminate small health problems before they become big ones!
CHIROPRACTIC COUCH COX8
FLEXION-DISTRACTION AND DECOMPRESSION TECHNOLOGY
In my chiropractic practice I use the most technologically advanced chiropractic/osteopathic couch on the market. The Cox Technique has been a researched and documented method of spinal mobilisation for 30 years and is used for non-surgical relief of lumbosacral, thoracic and cervical spine pain, as well as conditions commonly referred to as radiculitis, shoulder and sciatica. The Cox Technique can be used to effectively treat conditions such as
Herniated intervertebral disc (disc herniation)
Spinal canal stenosis
retrolisthesis
Spondylolisthesis
Numbness, tingling, loss of muscle strength and sensation in the limbs
Pain caused by neurosurgery
Pain during pregnancy
Does a spinal hernia always have to be treated on an operating table? Treatment of spinal hernias is possible. I have been using and developing manual methods, i.e. chiropractic, for more than 22 years and the Cox Flexion Distraction Technique is a gentle, non-operative, fully therapist-controlled method of spinal manipulation where the medical procedures are carried out on a specially designed couch.
PIERCE RESULTS SYSTEM
The Pierce Results System chiropractic method is based on a combination of a thorough history, physical examination and x-ray analysis. It focuses on manipulation within the specific vertebrae requiring correction, making it safe for the patient. Accurate diagnosis and careful case analysis increase the effectiveness of this method in eliminating pain and correcting spinal alignment.
The cervical spine is the most difficult to treat due to its anatomical structure and the weight of the head resting on it. By restoring the correct cervical lordosis and correcting the pelvis, the axis of the spine is reestablished and the spinal column and peripheral joints are relieved. By restoring normal mobility to previously blocked joints, it improves the function of the nervous system, relieves discomfort and regulates muscle tension. When done correctly, Dr Pierce's therapy can restore the normal axis and curvature of the spine, restore proper posture and eliminate pain.
YUMEIHO CHIROPRACTIC JAPAN
Yumeiho is a Japanese manual therapy method that focuses on restoring the correct position of the body's centre of gravity and relieving spinal conditions. As everyone is subject to the law of gravity, we all respond to a shift in the pelvic bones. This displacement, when it exceeds a certain limit, causes symptoms of disease. The main aim of this method is to correct this displacement and align the spine correctly, thus activating the body's self-healing powers and getting to the root of the problem. The classic form of massage, known as kata, consists of more than a hundred different therapeutic techniques performed on a mat in light clothing. The methods used for correction are SEITAI, the equivalent of American chiropractic, osteopathy and deep tissue kneading and pressure massage, performed in an original and painless way.
The complexity of the techniques, which involve the whole body, is used to correct misalignments in the entire skeleton, especially in the pelvic bones, hip joints and spine, by eliminating stiffness and tension in all the muscles and tendons, until the full range of motion of the joints is achieved and the centre of gravity of the whole body is restored to its correct position. It stimulates the vital forces inherent in every human being and ultimately cures the disease.
The essence of YUMEIHO® therapy is to get to the root of the disease and remove the causes, not just the symptoms, which is why it is called causal or fundamental therapy.
It is used for: spinal, joint and hip pain, discopathy, spondylolisthesis, scoliosis, migraine, muscle pain, obesity, leg length discrepancy, menstrual pain, skeletal and muscular asymmetry and many other conditions.
YUMEIHO therapy is particularly recommended as a preventative measure for physically active people, whatever their sport.
CRANIO SACRAL
CRANIO-SACRAL THERAPY
When working on the craniosacral system, I use a very light touch to observe abnormal tissue tension not only in the skull, spine and dura mater, but also indirectly throughout the body through the phenomenon of connective tissue continuity and feedback in its tension system. By regulating the craniosacral system, it gives the impulse to release the body's internal forces to maintain or restore balance. It is therefore possible to work with patients of all ages - from the neonatal and even foetal period to old age, when contact with the patient is sometimes difficult due to organic changes in the brain.
Through this gentle touch, abnormal tensions stored in the skeleton, muscles, including the diaphragm, thoracic joints, sacrum and fascia, can be balanced, the tension of which can cause a range of health problems seemingly unrelated to the cranio-sacral system.
